1. Pumpkin Pie Spice ‘Tini

  • Pumpkin puree. 
  • Vanilla vodka.

Combine all three ingredients in a cocktail shaker with ice and shake well for about 30 seconds or until the outside of the shaker is frosty.

Strain into a martini glass and garnish with fresh cinnamon sticks (or any other desired garnish). Serve chilled.

The second on our list is the Hot Apple Cider. It’s super simple to make, and you can drink it anytime or at night. 

This recipe will need honey, apple cider, cinnamon sticks, cardamom pods, cloves, ginger root, and vanilla extract.

Bring 2 cups of water to a boil in a medium saucepan over high heat. Add honey and spices to taste (1/2 teaspoon each should do) to sweeten the drink. Add 4 cups of unsweetened apple cider to your pot.

3. Non-Alcoholic Mulled Wine

It is time to start thinking about holiday party drinks. And if you are looking for a great, gluten free option, then try this non-alcoholic Mulled Wine.

This recipe was published in A Woman’s World Magazine and has been around for years. It is perfect for a family celebration or gathering of friends.

  • Water 
  • Apple cider 
  • Sugar 
  • Ground cinnamon 
  • Ground cloves 
  • Ground ginger 
  • Red food coloring (optional) 

Over high heat, bring the water and apple cider to a boil in a large pot.

4. Easy Homemade Hot Chocolate

Sugar and spice and everything nice, that’s what these gluten free Christmas cocktails are made of. This recipe for hot chocolate is as easy as it gets.

It combines cocoa powder, sugar, vanilla extract, and milk in a pot and stirs over medium heat until the mixture is frothy. 

Add a pinch of cinnamon or nutmeg for some extra holiday flavor. Stir in some whipped cream before serving to really take things up a notch.

5. Green Tea Non-Alcoholic Hot Toddy

7. Pomegranate Cranberry Mocktail

Every year we try to find new gluten free Christmas cocktails for our guests. This year, we’re going with the Pomegranate Cranberry Mocktail. 

Combine 1/2 cup of cranberry juice, 1/4 cup of pomegranate juice, 2 tablespoons of simple syrup, and 4 cups of ice in a blender and blend until smooth.

Pour into glasses over ice cubes and garnish with fresh mint sprigs. We’ll be serving this up at our cocktail party on December 18th!

8. Christmas Punch

Christmas punch is a festive and delicious cocktail that’s easy to make. This version is gluten-free so that the whole family can enjoy it!

Ingredients include cranberry juice, lemon juice, ground cinnamon, ground ginger, ground nutmeg, sugar, apple cider, and apple juice.

To make: In a large pitcher, mix all ingredients together until the sugar has dissolved. Pour over ice and serve in glasses garnished with slices of orange, apples, or pears.

9. Non-Alcoholic Homemade Eggnog

Do you want delicious and gluten free Christmas cocktails? Try this homemade eggnog recipe. All you need is a blender, eggs, milk, sugar, and nutmeg to make it. 

You can also use vanilla extract instead of nutmeg to give the nog an extra flavor boost. It’s so easy to prepare that you’ll drink it in minutes!

The procedure:

  • Put all the ingredients in the blender.
  • Blend until smooth and frothy.

Blend on high speed for 30 seconds or until desired consistency is reached 

12. The Pink Prancer

This festive cocktail is made with cranberry juice, vodka, and an apple cider blend. It’s the perfect holiday tipple for those who are looking for something sweet and fruity to sip on after dinner. It gets its name from The Pink Prancer’s candy cane-striped appearance. 

You’ll need 1/2 cup of cranberry juice, 1/2 cup of vodka, 3/4 cup of apple cider blend (cider mixed with water), ice cubes, a handful of fresh cranberries, and a candy cane or two.

Combine all ingredients in a pitcher filled with ice cubes. Stir until the drink is well mixed and pour into glasses filled with ice cubes.

13. Vanilla Chai Tea White Russian

Some of the most popular drinks for the holiday season are those that are boozy and warm, like hot chocolate and eggnog.

But plenty of other tasty choices will also get you in the spirit without being heavy on calories.

14. Spiced Apple Cider Moscow Mule

And yes, I know it’s not technically a Moscow Mule; but the spiced apple cider gives it that festive feel. 

If you want your drink to be on the sweeter side, add a few tablespoons of sugar. If you want your drink to be on the tart side, use lime juice instead of lime wedges in the middle.

Ingredients are:

  • Almond milk (or another dairy-free milk).
  • Cocoa powder.

  • Vanilla extract or vanilla beans (I used vanilla extract, but you can also use a whole pod).
  • Salt (or less if you are sensitive to salt).
  • Water.

21. Spiced Orange Hot Chocolate

This hot chocolate is made with just four ingredients: milk, dark chocolate, orange zest, and cinnamon. The recipe is so simple that it will become your go-to for winter.

It combines the flavors of cinnamon, spice, and orange in a rich and creamy way that you can enjoy any time of the year. 

To make: Combine milk and dark chocolate in a saucepan and heat on medium until melted. Stir until smooth, add orange zest and simmer for 5 minutes.

Then, remove from heat then pour into cups or mugs. Top each cup with whipped cream or marshmallows before serving if desired.

22. Winter Citrus Hot Toddy

This is not excluded from our list of the best gluten free Christmas cocktails. To prepare: In a saucepan, combine 12 ounces of freshly squeezed orange juice, 4 ounces of freshly squeezed lemon juice, 1 teaspoon of whole cloves, and 2 cinnamon sticks. Simmer over medium heat for 10 minutes. 

Afterward, remove from the stove and add 2 teaspoons of honey or agave syrup. Pour into a mug with one ounce of bourbon (optional) and garnish with an orange slice. 

23. Brandy Flip

In a shaker filled with ice, pour 6 ounces of brandy, 3 tablespoons of sugar, and 6 egg yolks. Shake until frothy.

Add 12 to 16 ounces of heavy cream, shake again until it’s frothy, and pour it into glasses filled with ice cubes. That’s how you make one of the sumptuous gluten free Christmas cocktails!

24. Spiked Hot Apple Cider

This is such an easy recipe, and all you need is your favorite brand of hard apple cider (or hard pear cider if that’s more your thing), some apple juice, cinnamon sticks, whole cloves, and nutmeg.

To prepare:

  • Start by heating up the hard cider over medium heat in a pot. Add the spices and stir until they are fully combined with the liquid.
  • Next, add the apple juice and stir until fully combined and heated through.
  • Serve hot in mugs garnished with a cinnamon stick for extra flavor.

29. Vodka

33. Hot Buttered Rum

Finally, on this list of gluten free Christmas cocktails is Hot Buttered Rum. It includes sugar, butter, water, nutmeg, and cinnamon sticks that are boiled together until the sugar dissolves. 

A rum of choice is poured over a mug of hot water with a touch of butter stirred in. Top with freshly grated nutmeg and ground cinnamon for garnish. Serves 1-2 people depending on serving size preference.
